Wearing a denim shirt with jeans has become quite trendy lately. The double-denim look used to be the fashion faux pas that created the dad-look mentioned earlier. Now, fashion-forward people have made it work.

Get the perfect shave

image

Just as a golfer needs the right clubs and an artist needs a proper canvas, a well-groomed man needs the right shaving tools to achieve a nick, burn and bump-free ritual. Here they are:

1. Hot Water From Sink Or Shower

2. Targeted Facial Cleanser Or Exfoliator

3. Shave Oil

4. Shave Cream

5. Razor Of Choice

6. Post Shave Balm

The Shave

Step1 #: Prepare
Cleansing or exfoliating the face is the initial action in any great shave. Applying and rinsing off a targeted facial cleansing product before blade touch-down will eradicate excess grit, grime and waste. While a quality facial cleanser should be used most days, a facial scrubshould be substituted 2-3 times per week. Such scrubs will help remove dead skin cells and will also uproot stubborn ingrown hairs.

Grooming Lounge | Fine Men’s Grooming Products

image

Grooming Lounge is probably the most important site for men’s skin care, men’s shaving and men’s hair care products. They offer the widest selection of premium men’s brands like Lab Series, Dermatologica, Jack Black, Acqua di Parma, American Crew, Tom Ford, Ulrich Lang, including their own line Grooming Lounge.

A man’s skin is different than a woman’s skin. The layers of skin are thicker, pores are larger and there are more oil glands producing more lubrication for a longer period of time. Even though men have this extra, anti aging defense in their favor, it is no reason to disregard proper care of your skin. Daily shaving does not have to accompanied by uncomfortable side effects. Grabbing a can of shaving cream and a disposable razor may work short term but for the healthiest skin overall, a consistent, daily skin care and shaving regimen should be followed, using correct products for your skin type. When it comes to products, the Grooming Lounge is committed to offering the “best of the best.”

How To Grow A Beard Like A Celebrity

There was a time when growing a proper beard required only one thing – the face’s owner stopped shaving. Times have certainly evolved (or regressed depending how you view it) and beard maintenance now takes some actual effort to ensure said beard reflects one’s personality and facial-hair related goals. Here are some tips to creating and sustaining a great looking beard (even if you don’t have Brad Pitt’s or Ben Affleck’s beard budget):

● GROWING IT
Push Through The Crockett Phase: Obviously, the first step in growing any beard is to stop shaving. This can present an awkward few weeks (or months depending on your “sprouting level”) where co-workers and friends aren’t sure if you’re lazy, hung over or vying for a spot on Miami Vice III. Keep doubters on their toes by avoiding extreme cases of “neck beard” (hair between lines b. and c. on illustration). Remove these hairs with a quality trimmer or fresh blade.

Get Soft: The main reason men prematurely pull the plug on beard growth is adverseness to itching. There’s a degree of this that’ll always be there, but softening immature whiskers with a beard wash and conditioner can help a beard mature easier throughout its lifespan.
