Preppy is not just a style, it is a way of life. Being preppy means to be polite, to have a great posture, to socialize, to play a preppy sport like horse riding, to take good care of yourself and of course to pay attention to school. School is important as it is the birthplace of preppy style in clothing. Being simple, fresh and clean are the key rules to preppy clothing, while minimal accessories and a natural still sport and classic hairstyle are the finishing touches for this style.

Cremieux was first launched in 1976 in St.Tropez by Daniel Cremieux. This boutique was in the beginning a place of imported goods like shirts, sweaters and ties from Britain. In Cremieux boutique you would find vivid and bright hues in the collection and it was one of the first boutiques at that time when France was dominated by dark colors in fashion. Vivid colored clothes were accompanied by European source apparel and bright accessories. Thus, the Cremieux brand was born.
Cremieux is a family business grounded on passion, details and uncompromising quality. Through years Cremieux built a global business with like-minded distributers and partners that share the same vision. In 2003 Stephan Cremieux took over the family business and brought a new modern still vintage aesthetic for their international consumer and this was the key to their success, answering the evolving needs of the their clients.
In 2009, Cremieux got the logo “Cremieux, 38” in memory of its founder (birth date of Daniel Cremieux) and his quote “there is no future without the past”.
Cremieux is still evolving its style but always embodies the youthful still sophisticated Saint- Tropez spirit. It is for sure a brand worthy to check out if you like preppy style, although I think that if you are into preppy style you already know this company and its sense.
